Hardcore ARASHI fans in Miyagi Prefecture are not thrilled that children get to go to the ARASHI EXHIBITION “JOURNEY” for free

The “ARASHI EXHIBITION” JOURNEY is being held nationwide (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoaka and Miyagi) and on August 5th, the governor of Miyagi Prefecture invited children from three prefectures to the exhibition (for free), with the support from Johnny’s after consultation and fans are not too thrilled.

The reason is because fan club members must go through a lottery system to get into the exhibition (which costs Y1500) and not all are guaranteed they can see it because many people are expected to turnout and see the exhibition.

As ARASHI is going to go on an indefinite break, many fans desperately want to go to the exhibition which commemorates the 20th anniversary of ARASHI’s debut.

Fans wrote on SNS:

What if ARASHI fans can’t go to the exhibition because the children who get to go in for free?

This is not fair for fan club members.

Because ARASHI is going on a break, going to this exhibition is my top priority
