Keyakizaka46’s Hirate Yurina injures right elbow

Keyakizaka46’s Hirate Yurina will be missing the Zenkoku Arena Tour 2019 starting on August 16th due to a right elbow injury as announced on the official website.

She will need to rest her arm.  For activities that do not involve any dance performances, she will continue to do what she can but for activities that involve performances, it will depend on her recovery and also upon the doctor’s latest diagnosis.

Hirate has battled with injuries since 2017, but things took a bad turn back in September 2018 when Hirate fell 6.5 feet off stage during a performance at a nationwide arena performance at Chiba Makuhari Messe. While she was diagnosed with light bruises, it kept her out of Keyakizaka46 temporarily. Hirate did not perform on “MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE 2018” or “NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen”.

Back in January 2018, she suffered from a tricep brachial muscle injury and in December 2017, she suffered from mild hyperventilation during the Keyakizaka46 performance at Kouhaku Utagassen.

The Keyakizaka46 center returned back to activity on February 2019.
