TWICE’s Mina is diagnosed with anxiety disorder

Back in mid-July, it was announced that TWICE’s Mina will not be taking part in the group’s “TWICELIGHTS” world tour due to sudden extreme anxiety.

On August 27th, JYP Entertainment announced on their website that she was diagnosed with anxiety disorder by numerous doctors.

JYP Entertainment also said that her return to activity will be decided by Mina and the other members and wished Mina the best for her recovery.

Fans rushed to SNS to share their thoughts:

I’m not a stan but I do support twice and truly wish the best for Mina. I hope that she takes her time to feel ready to perform again and I also hope this creates a more open discussion about mental health in the kpop industry.
