Former TOKIO bassist Yamaguchi Tatsuya makes his first interview with media in over a year

Since the scandal which rocked Japan last year involving TOKIO bassist Yamaguchi Tatsuya, it has been over a year and four months since he has appeared in the media.

But now Yamaguchi Tatsuya is featured in an interview with “Josei Seven” which will be released on August 29th.

A lot of rumors have been released about TOKIO breaking up, reportedly because they can’t find a bassist who could reproduce the bass sound of Yamaguchi.

In the interview, Yamaguchi talks about the incident, his illness, Kitagawa Johnny’s death and current situation, especially his thoughts about TOKIO.

Yamaguchi said, “I don’t want to see TOKIO to suffer because I can’t make music.  I want to hear TOKIO continue to perform!”.

The interview with the Josei Seven reporter lasted about five hours and Yamaguchi said, “This is my last interview, my last confession”.
