“Grand Maison Tokyo” to feature a 25-minute extended SP on October 20th

Kimura Takuya will be starring in the TBS Nichiyoubi Gekijo (Sunday Theater) drama “Grand Maison Tokyo” starting on October 20th (21:00 p.m.).

It was announced that the first broadcast will include a 25-minute extended special.

Also announced are the talent who will be starring on the drama: Yoshitani Ayako, Asakura Aki, Nakamura Anne, Tezuka Toru who will join Kimura Takuya, Suzuki Kyoka, Tamamori Yuta, Oikawa Mitsuhiro, Sawamura Kazuki and Kanichiro.

Kimura will be taking on the challenge of playing an unconventional chef (specializing in French cuisine) named Obana Natsuki.  He runs a restaurant, Lambroisie which has earned 2 stars from the the Michelin Guide but he is under pressure of trying to reach three stars.

An incident occured and he ends up losing his restaurant and colleagues.  One day, he meets female chef Hayami Rinko (portrayed by Suzuki Kyoka) who loved Obana’s dishes and together, they decide to create a restaurant together which will try to earn three stars.

Asakura Aki will play the character of Miyu, a concierge at a first-class hotel where a Shohei, portrayed by Kis-My-Ft2’s Tamamori Yuta, works as a chef.  Miyu’s father dreams that his daughter will marry Shohei.

Yoshitani Ayako will play the role of Moe, a pastry chef at a restaurant.  She is in charge of the dessert department and has confidence that no one can beat her as she feels she is the best pastry chef in the world.

Nakamura Anne will play the role of a famous food writer Kazumi Kanna.
