Akashiya Sanma talked about his feelings of the film “Joker”

“Joker” was released on October 4th in both the US and Japan and it has been a hot topic in the media.

Comedian Kobayashi Kendo said about the film “You can watch this movie and think when it’s over that its people who are dissatisfied with society and system and when entertainers who aren’t doing well.  I think it’s funny”.

Comedian Ijuin Hikaru said, “I don’t think I wasted my money, it’s good, but I’m really depressed.  I think it’s better to watch it when you are feeling very good”.

Comedian Akashiya Sanma had a different take, “The joker in this movie and the film “Dark Knight” are very sad.  My Joker was from “Batman” (1989), when Joker was more cheerful.  I’m really longing for this version”.

Sanma continued, “I still have a picture of Jack Nicholson as the Joker in my house.  It’s amazing.  I miss Jack Nicholson’s Joker. “Dark Knight” and “Joker” are very dark”.
