ARASHI went live with five social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Weibo and TikTok. In addition, their new music video “Turning Up” was posted not just on YouTube but their other social media accounts as well.
And in less than nine hours, ARASHI has surpassed over a million viewers on Instagram and Twitter.
Matsumoto Jun said, “We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary and want to be closer to our fans than ever before. We want to deliver our activities in real time. That’s why we decided to start SNS (social media) at this time. We want to express a sense of speed that can only experienced in real time on SNS and we are thinking about plans to do things unique to SNS, so please look forward to our posts”.
