Fuji TV’s “FNS 27-Jikan TV” average audience rating was a dismal 5.8%

Fuji TV’s “FNS 27-Jikan TV” (FNS 27-hour TV) received a 5.8% average audience rating, below last year’s average which was 7.3% and was the lowest recorded rating for the 27-hour special.

The grand finale ended with an 8.3% rating.

The special has been ongoing since 1987 and is broadcast during three consecutive holidays.

When SMAP served as the moderator back in 2014, the special received a 13.1% rating.
