Sanrio Puroland posts “Puroland, resting” video leaving many faithful attendees in tears and respect for the employees

Since late February, Sanrio Puroland in Tama City, Tokyo has been temporarily closed due to the spread of COVID-19 since February 22nd.

On March 22nd, Sanrio Puroland posted a video “Puroland, resting…” which has since gone viral, featuring the workers preparing the theme park and working hard to clean the park and welcome visitors when they open.

Many attendees shared their support for Sanrio Puroland, seeing how hard the workers are in cleaning the theme park but also preparing when the gates finally open.

“‘I’m here, even if I’m resting’…I can honestly cry. I will definitely go to Puroland and Harmonyland. I will not lose to the novel coronavirus. All of Sanrio, thank you.

“I will try not to cry… Thank you for thinking about us even during this time when you are closed. I am looking forward to seeing you again”

“I can not stop crying. Sanrio Puroland is a wonderful theme park that makes Japan proud”.

“My tears can not stop. I want to meet everyone with a smile very soon. I’ll do my best until then”.
