Since unveiling her gaming channel in April, Goto Maki has surprised many fans watching her YouTube videos because she is a true hardcore gamer and fan of the “Monster Hunter” series. From her skill, her knowledge of the video game which is amazing, many people are surprised of how laid back she is during her commentary of the game.
Many feel she is more geeky than idol, often wearing a sweater and sweatpants and kicks off her YouTube channel while laying on the couch and recording herself with a camera and smartphone, it’s no doubt resonated with fans in a positive way.
In fact, Goto has been a big fan of video games for many years and with over 86,000 subscribers and nearly every video over 100,000 views, Goto Maki’s gaming channel has been mainly growing in views thanks to word of mouth (Note: She has created a separate channel for makeup) but many wonder if they will ever see the former Morning Musume member return back to music?
That remains to be seen.
