A “Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu” special will be broadcast on TBS on May 19th, “Koi Dance” was released on TBS’ official YouTube.

The very popular drama from 2016 starring Aragaki Yui and Hoshino Gen will be re-edited into a special.  The special will feature unreleased scenes and cuts and will be broadcasted on May 19th at 22:00 p.m.

The drama exceeded a viewership of 20% (a first for a Tuesday night drama) for its finale and also was an award winning drama.

So popular that people all over the world were dancing to the song, and even TBS newscasters started dancing and videos were being posted on YouTube.  But a few months later, the label had requested for all YouTube videos to be removed due to music copyright, as they felt the time allowed to be on YouTube was sufficient.

As many people are staying at home during COVID-19, TBS is hoping people will do the “Koi Dance” once again and post with the hashtag: ＃恋ダンスを踊ろう

The “Koi Dance” YouTube video is now up on the TBS YouTube channel YouTuboo on May 12th at 23:00.
