Ariyoshi Hiroiki is a person who also knows how it feels to start over. After success with the owarai duo Saruganseki, having a hit song, the duo went to decline and disappeared. He worked hard to revive his career nearly a decade later and by 2011, he became Japan’s top TV talent. He would know and interact with members of AKB48 through his TV show “Ariyoshi AKB Kyowakoku” and other TV shows that he would star in, especially with HKT48/AKB48 member Sashihara Rino.

There is no doubt that Sashihara Rino is a perfect example of an idol who was caught up in a scandal in 2012 but through hard work, would eventually rise to become one of the well-known faces of Japan, on television, CM’s and magazines and becoming the #1 most popular member of AKB48G.

Of course, the road to success was not easy. After the scandal in 2012, Sashihara was demoted and transferred from AKB48 to a new group at the time known as HKT48.

But many believed in her, from AKB48 producer Akimoto Yasushi, TV host Nakai Masahiro and also TV host Ariyoshi Hiroiki.

When it comes to comebacks, both Ariyoshi Hiroiki and Sashihara Rino are among the rare few who received a second opportunity and achieved great success.

Ariyoshi wrote, “It has been a few years since I protected this runaway girl. Sashihara is doing just fine”.
