Actress Kohinata Eri is retiring from the entertainment industry

Actress Kohinata Eri (32) updated her blog and announced that she retiring from the entertainment industry.

Kohinata wrote, “It may surprise you with this sudden announcement, but I, Kohinata Eri, will retire from the entertainment industry.  My management, Sun Music, will retire my contract at the end of May 2020”.

Many people responded with shock, as many grew up watching Kohinata who has been in the industry since she was 15 years old.

Many will know Kohinata as the female history buff on television especially when it comes to “Three Kingdoms” and “Sengoku” periods.She also is the only female entertainer to hold a first grade qualification from taking the “Three Kingdoms Examination”.

Koei Tecmo also used Kohinata as a live mascot for “Dynasty Warriors” Sun Shangxiang and Xiaoqiao, Oichi in “Samurai Warriors”, Tamaki in “Saihai no Yukue”.
