Cinnamoroll wins 1st place in the 2020 Sanrio Character Awards

The 2020 Sanrio Character Awards has concluded and the character Cinnamoroll won first place with 1,387,152 votes.  Cinnamoroll returned to the first place position for the third time.  Pochacco who came in third place has been in the top three for 24 years since 1996.

2. Pompompurin – 1,288,245 votes
3. Pochacco – 1,013,927 votes
4. My melody – 883,485 votes
5. Hello Kitty – 839,904 votes
6. YOSHIKITTY – 675,706 votes
7. Kuromi – 661,284 votes
8. SHOW BY ROCK!! – 602,105 votes
9. Little Twin Stars – 588,927 votes
10. Tuxedo Thumb – 428,826 votes

Meanwhile for overseas rankings, Cinnamoroll was #1 in China, Italy, Duck Peckle was #1 in Hong Kong, Pompoimpurin was #1 in Taiwan, Kuromi was #1 in England and Korea, Hello Kitty was #1 in America, YOSHIKITTY was #1 in Brazil, Germany and France.
