Bunshun has outted Watanabe Entertainment Managing Director for sexual harassment

Watanabe Entertainment, one of Japan’s largest entertainment production companies is currently investigating their managing director, Osawa Tsuyoshi (47) for malicious sexual harassment.

Bunshun released an article that Osawa was involved in indecent and obscene acts for about a year towards a young male idol he produced for about a year.

The victim told Bunshun Online, “I’ve quit the office and it’s a past that I really want to forget, but I don’t want anymore victims like what happened to me.  Above all Osawa-san is very angry with me.  First of all, I never liked Osawa-san in a romantic sense but as a producer, he greatly influenced my entertainment activities”.

The two would communicate on LINE and the emoji of a tiger and cat were often shown, Osawa being the tiger and the victim as a cat.

The victim said, “There were some moments int ime where I thought, if this person liked me, I would be able to have more work.  But that was foolish thinking.  At the same time, I hated the relationship between the people in our group and I though about leaving”.

In the Bunshun article, the victim produced LINE exchanges but also what happened and how their affair escalated.  Going into detail of the sexual experiences the two had and how Osawa would photograph him nude.  And how Osawa, used his position of power within Watanabe Entertainment to the victim.

The company released a statement and the company dismissed Osawa from the Board of Directors on Thursday, June 11th and have suspended him, while they conduct their investigation.
