NEWS fans show anger on SNS for Tegoshi Yuya leaving the group, anger towards L’Arc~en~Ciel’s HYDE

With Tegoshi Yuya leaving NEWS (which in effect, ended side unit TEGOMASS) and Johnny’s Jimusho, NEWS fans took to SNS to show their anger.

Comments were as follows:

I can never forgive Tegoshi for the rest of my life!

I will never allow you to leave NEWS!

I had a bad feeling about Tegoshi!

I will not forgive you.  You took 15 years out of my life. I will never forgive myself.

Tegoshi is really the worst.  He left Johnny’s without an apology.  I will not forgive you for the rest of my life.

I’m sorry, I have been throwing up because of this.  I’ll never forgive you!

Meanwhile, an account for Tegoshi Yuya and the first post was:

This is Tegoshi Yuya! I decided to leave Johnny’s which I have thought about for many years and became independent. For more details, I would like to report on future activities at the beginning of the week. Thank you.

HYDE replied back to Tegoshi with “Let’s enjoy your second life!”. And of course, NEWS fans were not having it.

Comments on SNS were as follows:

Don’t say anything to add sale to the wound.

I don’t think I would say anything. Please think about the fans and the three remaining NEWS members.

I understand the feeling that you want to support him but this is very annoying. There are many people who are sad because of this.

I think it’s the kindness of HYDE, but I want you to please delete this post.

HYDE responded with an apology for making people sad.

Meanwhile, many people questioned if the Twitter account was actually Tegoshi Yuya, because it hasn’t been verified. Popular YouTuber Hikaru confirmed that this is indeed Tegoshi’s Twitter account.
