Stardust announced that Yokohama Ryusei tested positive for COVID-19

Management company, Stardust Section 2, has announced that actor Yokohama Ryusei has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

On the night of Monday, July 20th, no fever was seen after performing on stage while training in Ganryujima Island.  But when he went home, he felt faint.  When his temperature was taken, he showed fever symptoms and was taken to a medical facility.  Upon receiving an examination, he took an antigen and PCR test.

The antigen test was positive at midnight on July 20th.  The PCR test was not yet released, but the public health center in discussion with the hospital said that as a result of the antigen test being positive, it was determined he was infected with the novel coronavirus.

After meeting with the medical institution, Yokohama was hospitalized and treated according to the instructions of the hospital.

The company apologizes for the inconvenience and anxiety to those involved in the work, the co-stars and fans who have supported him.  He is making every possible effort to recover.

Stardust emphasizes that their highest priority is to prevent the infection of employees and related parties and will continue to implement thorough measures.
