“ONE PIECE” creator Oda Eichiro said the series will be completed in 4-5 years

Oda Eichiiro, the creator of the long running manga series “ONE PIECE” appeared on FUJI TV’s “Arashitsubo” on August 27th.

ARASHI visited Shueisha’s “Shonen Jump” editorial department where they met with Oda who joked how he rarely visits the “JUMP” editorial department and was staring at the manuscript of the first chapter of “ONE PIECE” and said, “It’s been 23 years.  That’s good!”.

When he was asked about how many years are left for the series, Oda said, “4-5 years are left”.
