Mangaka Eguchi Kousei (23) has passed away.
The creator of “KIMIO ALIVE”, his manga series was serialized in “Monthly Shonen Magazine” is about a boy who wants to do too much in order to pursue his dreams with his friends.
Kodansha announced on their official site that the young mangaka passed away on August 19th. Eguchi was rushed to the hospital on August 17th and died two days later.
In the statement, Kodansha writes, “He was a talented writer who had the strength and warmth to reach people’s hearts and attracted many readers”.
A funeral was held by relatives.
