YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA’s Takahashi Yukihiro underwent surgery for a brain tumor

YELLOW MAGIC ORCHESTRA (YMO) member Takahashi Yukihiro (68) undergone surgery for a brain tumor

His office announced the surgery on August 31st.

Takahashi’s comments through his office are as follows:

Since the beginning of this summer, I have had intermittent headaches and migraines since the beginning of season. I felt that symptoms did not improve, so I decided to undergo an emergency MRI scan and the result was that I have a brain tumor.  The surger to remove the affected area was performed on the 13th of this month and it was a successful surgery.

Fortunately, there are no consequences after the surgery and in the future, I will continue to improve my physical strength and concentrate on the treatment carefully and will strive to stand in front of you as soon as possible.
