For today’s announcements of entertainers who tested positive for the novel coronavirus:

HKT48’s Murashige Anna

Twin Planet, which represents Murashige Anna and Sashihara Rino announced that Murashige had a fever, sore throat and fatigue in the early morning of September 20th.  She took a PCR test at a medical institution on the same day and it was confirmed that she tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Today, she will receive treatment and will be quarantining and following the guidelines as listed by the public health center.

Mercury which in charge of operations of HKT48 announced that they will decline, cancel and postpone any activity on Murashige’s schedule as she is ongoing treatment. In addition, they will cooperate with related parties and carry out PCR tests on all members and employees.  Until the results are obtained after carrying out PCR tests, they will carry out PCR tests at home under the guidance of the health center”.

There has been no announcement in regards to former AKB48 member Nishino Miki’s status as both released a YouTube video last Saturday. But it is not known how far in advance the video was last shot.
