CLAMP’s “Tokyo Babylon 2021” to receive an anime adaptation

CLAMP’s “Tokyo Babylon 2021” will has been announced to receive an anime adaptation and a visual and teaser trailer has been released.

“Tokyo Babylon” is a series which ran in Shishokan’s “South” form August 1990 to 1993 and their publication “Wings” from 1990-1992.  The series was released in seven volumes and two anime OVA’s were created.

The original series revolves around Sumeragi Subaru , the 13th Head of the Sumeragi Clan and a powerful magician who takes on occult mysteries and lives with his twin sister, designer Sumeragi Hokuto.

A veterinarian named Sakurazuka Seishiro tends to hit on Subaru a lot but he is not as it seems.

The series is a story in which the characters would be part of the series “X” which pits the “Dragons of Heaven” (which believes that conflicts between man and nature can and must be resolved peacefuly and humanity is no less precious than the Earth itself) vs. the “Dragons of Earth” (represents the belief that conflicts between man and nature cannot be resolved peacefully and humanity is on the path that will lead to the murder of the planet itself unless they are stopped) which determines the fate of Earth and humanity.
