Da-iCE member Hanamura Sota is another “RENT” musical cast member to test positive for COVID-19

Da-iCE member Hanamura Sota (30) tested positive for the novel coronavirus according to the group’s official website.

Hanamura is a cast member of the musical “RENT” which was canceled through November 30th after 15 people including cast members tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

On the website, the following statement was posted:

“On Friday, November 20, it was discovered that our company’s talent Hanamura Sota (Da-iCE) tested positive for the novel coronavirus.  We received a report that the cast members in the musical ‘RENT’ tested positive for the novel coronavirus, so a PCR test was conducted on the night of November 16.  The next day, the result was negative.  However, anoitehr PCR test was conducted in the afternoon of November 19 and we were informed by the medical institution that Hanamura tested positive for the novel coronavirus on the night of November 20.  Although he is mildly sick, he will continue to devote himself to treatment under the guidance of the health centers and medical institutions.  To everyone who supports him and everyone involved in the work, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and concern”.
