“Shin Evangelion Gekijo-ban” earns 82.77 million yen on the first day of release

It was revealed on March 9th that “Shin Evangelion Gekijo-ban” (New Evangelion Theatrical Version) aka “Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time” released on March 8th made a good start with 82.77 million yen earned in the box office on its first day of release.

The film is the fourth film of the popular anime series, which was originally set for a theatrical release date on June 27th lat year. Then it was postponed to January 23rd but postponed due to the second state of emergency.
