Funky Monkey Babys Funky Kato and Mon-kichi to reunite, will now be known as FUNKY MONKEY BΛBY’S

Funky Monkey Babys featuring Funky Kato, Mon-kichi and DJ Chemical disbanded in 2013.  But the group which debuted in 2004, reunited for one-day only on March 11th for TBS’s “Music Day”.

And after performing together, the three discussed about restarting activities. Funky Kato and Mon-kichi decided they were in, while DJ Chemical would not but he said he would be supporting the two and their future activities.

So, the new group will now be known as FUNKY MONKEY BΛBY’S.

Funky Kato said, “The precious memories that had been stored in the depths of my heart was shown on MArch 11th and became a strong feeling.  I’m going to sing with Mon-kichi”.

Mon-kichi said he was happy to sing with Funky Kato again but lonely that DJ Chemical would not be part of the group and said he felt without him, he does honestly feel something strange.
