Cooking expert Takagi Emi has passed away

In Japan, Takagi Emi (35) is known as a cooking guru. The culinary researcher/kitchen consultant passed away due to lung cancer.

Last October, Takagi found out that she had stage 4 lung cancer which metastasized to her brain and bones and she fought cancer as long as she could.

On her Instagram, Takagi shared moments with her son and her battle with cancer. Her last post was on Sunday about being in the ICU and how they removed the ventilator and she was able to smile and laugh.

An announcement was made that she passed on March 28th and that her wishes was for no funeral as she didn’t want loved ones to be gathered to be sad and have tears. Also, her words to everyone:
