MACO announced on her YouTube channel that she suffers from ulcerative colitis

Singer MACO took to her YouTube channel on April 7th that she suffers from ulcerative colitis.

She confessed in the video that she was diagnosed with the intractable disease and revealed that she has been suffering from abdominal pain of unknown cause since she was 19-years-old.

MACO explained in her video that there is no definitive4 treatment and she has no choice but to diet and maintain the status quo.

At the beginning of her diagnosis, she was optimistic that she could be cured soon but was shocked when she was informed that she had will have to deal with this disease for the rest of her life.

She also admitted that she has spend her 20s with the illness and when she held her first one-man tour in 2016, she doesn’t remember much but that she had repeated hospitalizations.

And while she didn’t want to talk about it at first, she decided that she wanted to communicate with others who have the same illness.
