“Jujutsu Kaisen” will be temporarily suspended for a month

Popular manga series “Jujutsu Kaisen” created by mangaka Akutami Gege will be temporarily suspended for a month.

The announcement was made on the Twitter of “Weekly Shonen Jump” who announced that it will be suspended due to Akutami’s poor physical condition and the suspension period will be about a month.

Akutami said, “I’m not sick, even though I am sick.  I’m mentally driving normally, so don’t worry.  Just wait.  I’m sorry, I will do my best with the intention of a new serialization when I return”.

“Jujutsu Kaisen” has been serialized in the same magazine since 2018 and the cumulative circulation has exceeded 50 million, making it a huge hit.  The TV anime was broadcast from October 2020 to March 2021.
