Popular manga series “Jujutsu Kaisen” created by mangaka Akutami Gege will be temporarily suspended for a month.
The announcement was made on the Twitter of “Weekly Shonen Jump” who announced that it will be suspended due to Akutami’s poor physical condition and the suspension period will be about a month.
週刊少年ジャンプ29号(6月21日発売)より芥見先生の体調不良のため、『呪術廻戦』はしばらくの間休載させていただきます。

Akutami said, “I’m not sick, even though I am sick. I’m mentally driving normally, so don’t worry. Just wait. I’m sorry, I will do my best with the intention of a new serialization when I return”.
“Jujutsu Kaisen” has been serialized in the same magazine since 2018 and the cumulative circulation has exceeded 50 million, making it a huge hit. The TV anime was broadcast from October 2020 to March 2021.
