IZ*ONE – Where are they now?

IZ*ONE, one of the most successful KPOP female groups in terms of album sales and fan support, many many have wondered, what has happened with each member since the group disbanded at the end of April?

Fortunately in the last two months, each member of IZ*ONE has done well.

Let’s take a look at each member starting from their rank from #1 to #12:

1. Jang Wonyoung

Jang Wonyoung is from Starship Entertainment, one of the largest entertainment agencies in South Korea. And she has been doing a lot of modeling as evidence of the many jobs she has done as featured on her Instagram.

2. Miyawaki Sakura

Miyawaki Sakura is doing very well with many magazine, television and YouTube appearances. She recently graduated from HKT48 and is showing that may she be a TV talent, actress or performer and YouTuber, her career is currently doing very well. Rumors are still ongoing whether or not she will join another K-Pop girl group.

3. Jo Yuri

Jo Yuri’s shining vocalist is busy performing and recently sung the song “STORY OF US” in English. May she be in another girl’s group or a solo artist, there is a lot of potential with Jo Yuri.

4. Choi Yena

Choi Yena is a well-balanced performer when it comes to vocals and dance and the member of YueHua and there are rumors that she may be joining the YueHua K-Pop girl group, Everglow.

If not, Choi Yena is doing well as a TV talent and most recently appeared on The Masked Singer.

5. Ahn Yujin

Another Starship Entertainment talent that is an MC for the popular SBS music show “Inkigayo”. Ahn Yujin already was known as the “Contact Lens girl” prior to being a member of IZ*ONE but many expect her to continue to show off her talent as an MC and also a performer.

6. Yabuki Nako

Yabuki Nako embodies the idol image of HKT48 and recently performed with Miyawaki Sakura for her HKT48 graduation concert.

7. Kwon Eunbi

IZ*ONE’s leader continues to post on Instagram with numerous photoshoots but many wonder if Woolim Entertainment has plans to bring both their IZ*ONE talents to join their group Rocket Punch. Eunbi recently was featured in Rocket Punch Tik Tok videos:

8. Kang Hyewon

She may be known for loving anime, video games and eating, but Hyewon is known for her visuals and she recently released her first solo photobook:

9. Honda Hitomi

Many worried that when Honda Hitomi came back to Japan and reunited with AKB48 Team 8, if she was going to receive any push. And sure enough, not only is she appearing on television but she is being promoted at the front in AKB48 campaigns. At the recent AKB48 Group Asia Festival 2021, she was the center.

10. Kim Chaewon

The other Woolim Entertainment member, along with Kwon Eunbi, rumored to joining the Woolim Entertainment group, Rocket Punch. Recently, Chaewon was featured doing a cover of an IU song. She also featured in a TikTok video with Rocket Punch.

11. Kim Minju

Kim Minju is an MC of “Music Core” and similar to Ahn Yujin, Kim Minju had success appearing on various music videos and has also appeared on television. Look for big things in the horizon for Kim Minju.

12. Lee Chaeyeon

Lee Chaeyeon is no doubt a fantastic dancer and has been before, during and after IZ*ONE. But whether or not she will join a new female pop group remains to be seen. Chaeyeon has been appearing on television and recently released a dance via Justin Bieber’s “Peaches”.
