Nizi Project Season 2 – Global Boys Audition announced

At a joint press conference held on July 12th between Sony Music Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, the second season of the Nizi Project has been announced.

It’s been a year since the nine-member global girl group NiziU was created and now the second season will lead to discovering and nurturing a world-class boy group.

Th new audition is for those who plan to graduate from junior high school by March 2023 up to ages 22-years old at the time of the audition deadline. Nationality does not matter but a condition is that the person must be able to communicate in Japanese as much as possible.

The entry category is vocal, dance model, rap and the addition of lyrics and composition for a total of five categories.

The deadline to apply is on October 29th at 5 p.m. And after that, from November to December, regional auditions will be held at 11 locations in Japan and overseas including Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Okinawa, New York, Los Angeles and Seoul, Korea.

JY Park will be in each city determining the selections of each member who will proceed to the Tokyo training camp. The final debut members will be decided in December 2022 and the major debut will be in March 2023.
