It was announced on the official blog for Kamenjoshi that five members were infected with the novel coronavirus. The activity will be suspended until the beginning of August.
The five members include Seira Saria, Sena Mitsuki, Ueshita Ao, Kitagawa Misaki.
In addition, ten people including Igari Tomoka (Kamen Joshi/Steam Girls) have been certified as close contacts (the ten have tested negative).
At the moment, no members have become seriously ill, but since a good number of the members were close contact with those who tested positive, the group will refrain in taking part in events fro July 21st to August 1st.
The Tokyo Akihabara “Kamenjoshi Cafe” theater performance has been canceled.
