Aragaki Yuki has appeared in her latest Meiji Melty Kiss CM for 11 consecutive years

Aragaki Yui will appear in a new TV CM (commercial) for the winter-only chocolate confectionery “Melty Kiss” from Meiji. The CM began broadcasting starting on the 26th.  Aragaki has been featured on “Melty Kiss” commercials for 11 consecutive years.

Aragaki said of the new CM, “This year was the first commercial for chocolate, strawberry, and matcha in three years, so I felt like I had returned to the starting point for the first time in a while.  People around me say, ‘I think the winter is coming’ when there is a new commercial.  This is the first time that there is a co-star, a teddy bear named “Melty Bear”.  Everything incuding the costumes are handmade.  The staff was particular about the sweaters.  I was deeply moved”.

For the history of “Melty Kiss”, Imai Miki, Moritaka Chisato and Hirosue Ryoko have served as image characters but Aragaki Yui has done it the longest.
