NHK announced artists and groups who will appear on the 72nd Annual Kouhaku Uta Gassen

NHK announced groups who will appear on the 72nd Annual Kouhaku Uta Gassen for the very first time.

For the red group: Mone Kamishiraishi, Awesome City Club, BiSH, millennium parade x Belle (Nakamura Kaho)

For the white group: Hotei Tomoyasu, KAT-TUN, Snow Man, DISH //, Hirai Dai, Mafumafu.

There will be a total of 43 participating singers (22 for the red group and 21 for the white group and 1 for special project) and 10 first time appearances. Last year’s event featured 46 teams, 21 in red team, 20 in white team and five special projects.

In addition, announcements were made of several of the participating performers (plus years they have appeared on the special)
