Tokyo Yakult Swallows win game 2, Japan Series tied 1-1

The Orix Buffaloes came from behind in game 1 to win the game 4-3, but for game 2, the Yakult Swallows won 2-0. Because the Pacific League held the advantage (game 1-2 played at Kyocera Dome in Osaka), the final three games will be played in Tokyo, but it will be played at Tokyo Dome (the home of the Tokyo Yomiuri Giants) due to a scheduling conflict with an amateur baseball tournament being held at the Swallows’ Jingu Stadium.

Game 6 (and if there is a game 7) will be played at Hotto Motto Field in Kobe due to a scheduling conflict, but the Hotto Motto Field was the original stadium for the Orix BlueWave before the team merged with the Kintetsu Buffaloes.

Game 3 will be played at Tokyo Dome on November 23rd.
