Former Morning Musume member Fukuda Asuka has remarried

Former Morning Musume member Fukuda Asuka (36) announced on her Instagram on November 23rd that she remarried.

Fukudad wrote, “I got married for a second time to the person who supported my fight against illness. I don’t know what life will be like?”. In the hashtag, Fukuda wrote #remarriage and #longdistance relationship.

She would audition for Sharam Q’s Josei Rock Vocalist Audition at the age of 12 back in 1997 and eventually made it to the finals for the TV variety show ASAYAN with four others and five would become known as Morning Musume. As a first gen Morning Musume member and a lead vocalist, while the group was starting to peak, Fukuda announced after a year and seven months that she is graduating from the group to focus on her studies.

Fukuda would start a new vocal group known as Peace Stone in 2011 and also participated in Hello! Project’s 20th anniversary of the debut of Morning Musume and performed with the original four members in a concert.

For her personal life, Fukuda married a general man in April 2015 and gave birth to her first child in February 2016 but divorced in July of that same year.

In 2018, Fukuda released a nude photo collection titled “PASSIONABLE” from Kodansha.

In September 2021, she revealed on Twitter that she underwent a detailed examination due to her physical and mental health problems.
