At the final performance of aiko’s national tour at Tokyo Garden Theater in Ariake, Tokyo, the singer/songwriter announced that she got married, but then followed that she actually got married last year.
The surprise announcement led to a high applause amongst her fans who congratulated her.
aiko made her major debut in 1998 with the song “Ashita” and has since released 41 singles and 14 albums with many hit songs topping the charts. She has also participated on “NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen” 14 times since 2000.
