Matsuda Seiko’s business, felicia club releases statement in regards to her daughter’s death

Singer Matsuda Seiko’s official website is currently down, so her business felicia club has issued the following statement from her Universal Music Japan website in regards to Matsuda’s daughter’s death:

Since the server of Seiko Matsuda’s official homepage of the affiliated office is down, we will post the death announcement of Kanda Sayaka from the website of the affiliated label as follows.

Kanda Sayaka, the daughter of Matsuda Seiko and an actress and singer, died on December 18th.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the people concerned and fans who supported her for their great kindness during her lifetime.

Matsuda is still in a state where she cannot accept this reality. We ask all media-related people to consider the deep sorrow of Matsuda and their relatives, the life and privacy of their neighborhood, and refrain from interviewing them from their homes and surrounding areas, or posting articles of speculation.
