Yamada Kintetsu’s “Ase to Sekken” (Sweat and Soap) manga series will be made into a live action drama

Yamada Kintetsu’s “Ase to Sekken” (Sweat and Soap) manga series will be made into a live action drama. The drama series will star Ohara Yuno and Sato Kanta.

The story is about Yaeshima Asako, a heavy sweating office lady who works for a cosmetics and bath products manufacturer. Young man, Natori Kotaro from the product development department of the same company, is good at smelling scents and one day, he encounters an interesting scent in the corridor of the company. That smell is Asako, who’s sweat smells complex.

The manga series was serialized from 2018-2021 and a total of 11 volumes were published.
