NHK announced that Ishihara Satomi to host “Torisetsu Show” and will be ending “Shibuya Note”

It was announced that actress Ishihara Satomi (35) will become the new MC of NHK’s life information program “Torisetsu Show” starting in April.

Ishihara married a general man two years ago and plans to give birth to her first child this spring. She will be appearing on the new show while in consultation in regards to her physical condition.

In addition, NHK announced that they will be ending the music program since April 2016, in March 2022. “Shibuya Note” is the music show successor inherited from “Pop Jam” (starting in April 1993) and “Music Japan” which started in 2007.

NHK has decided to unify their BSD1 and BS Premium channels by March of next year and are currently working to organize channels including radio and terrestrial broadcasting.
