On Nogizaka46’s second YouTube channel “Nogizaka Haishin-chu” (Nogizaka is being delivered), the channel introduced their 7th newest member of the 5th Generation, Nakanishi Aruno (18) from Chiba Prefecture.
Since February 2nd, the channel has been introducing the newest members of the group which included Inoue Nagi (16), Ichinose Miku (18), Sugawara Satsuki (16), Ogawa Aya (14), Tomisato Nao (16) and Okuda Iroha (16).
Sugawara, Ogawa, Tomisato and Okuda are also from Chiba Prefecture.
The 5th generation member audition started back in July 2021 and 11 new members were selected to join the group out of 87,852 applicants. This is the largest number in history for a single audition for an idol group in Japan.
