Hoshino Minami performs one last time as a member of Nogizaka46

Nogizaka46 veteran Hoshino Minami (24) performed her last concert as a member of the idol group.

A first gen member, the graduation ceremony was held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on February 12th and this ends the idol life in which Hoshino has been an idol for 10 1/2 years and is retiring from the entertainment industry.

The concert featured performances, then a quiz tournament including all Nogizaka46 members from first through fourth generation.  Hoshino thanked all the members who participated.

One of the highlights from the concert was Hoshino and Saito Asuka performing their last song (Seifuku o nuide sayonara o) as a duo as “Ashumina”.

At the end of the concert, Hoshino said, “I retired from Nogizaka at the same time as I graduated, so I don’t have many chances to meet with you. I think it was really fun to have my favorite live concert today, and I really don’t regret it. I don’t think it will end. From now on, I will be a supporter of Nogizaka, so I would like to support Nogizaka everytime. Thank you”.

Hoshino joined Nogizaka46 as a first-year student in August 2011, her second year of junior high school. She was involved in 26 out of 28 singles and was one of the front members for the debut single “Guru Guru Curtain”.
