Little Glee Monster’s Manaka will suspend activities, group will continue on with three members during tour

Little Glee Monster down to three members as Manaka (21) was diagnosed with sudden deafness and tinnitis.

According to their management, “Manaka was in poor physical condition and was diagnosed with sudden deafness. When she was examined by the doctor, she had ringing in her ears and couldn’t perform satisfactorily in her current condition, so she will be suspending activities for awhile and will concentrate on treatment”.

On February 1st, it was announced that member Serina would be on indefinite hiatus for rest.

Back on December 20, 2020, Serina took a break due to poor physical condition. Her agency announced on May 31st that same year that Serina was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and ADHD. While she returned in early summer, she had another setback which left the group with four members.

While the group considered canceling their tour in April with Manaka and Serina unable to participate, the group did not want to betray their fans and Karen, MAYU and Asahi will go on tour.
