Matsuura Aya appears in her first commercial in 11 and a half years

Singer/actress Matsuura Aya will appear in a new TV commercial for NESCAFE Excella, her first commercial in 11 and a half years.

Matsuura has been out of the entertainment spotlight since her marriage to w-inds. member Tachibana Keita and raising their daughter.

Matsuura said of appearing in the CM, “I was nervous for the first time in a long time! When I saw myself through the lens, I realized, ‘Oh, I’m getting older’. So, I tried to relax as much as possible while remembering my daily life of chasing things around, getting angry, laughing and trying to stay as natural as possible”.

Matsuura also sings the commercial theme song. The CM has a 15-second version and a 30-second version of “Hot Coffee” and ” Ice Coffee “, which will be broadcast throughout Japan starting on the 18th.  Both CM’s and the full song version have been released on YouTube.
