Matsui Jurina will be taking a rest due to poor physical condition

Matsui Jurina (25), a former member of SKE48, will be taking a rest due to poor physical condition. A statement was posted on her office’s official website.

“Thank you for always supporting Matsui Jurina. Matsui Jurina who belongs to our office, is in poor physical condition, and we would like to report that shee will suspend activities for the time being in order to concentrate on resting. Even at our office, we will prepare the environment necessary for rest and provide as much support as possible. During the suspension of activities, we will not update various SNS etc. We would like to ask all the fans and related parties for their understanding, quietly watching over her, and continuing to support her until the activity resumes.”

Matsui has had to take rest off and on due to poor physical condition since 2018. The same year she won first place in the last AKB48 Senbatsu Sosenkyo.
