TV Asahi chairman denies article in regards to ““Mirai e no 10 Count”

TV Asahi chairman Hayakawa Hiroshi attended a press conference and to answer comments about TV Asahi drama “Mirai e no 10 Count” not performing well in the ratings and that is why the drama is ending with its 9th episode.

Hayakawa strongly denied the article that was circulated and said there will be possible legal measures and protests against the publisher in the future. He also said the article was already deleted, so he will not comment any further.

It was reported by numerous Japanese media last week that “Mirai e no 10 Count” will end with its 9th episode due to dismal ratings.

With two weeks left, “Mirai e no 10 Count” has entered the final chapter this week. Average audience rating is up to 7 times 6.1% for individuals, 10.6% for households and a total audience rating including time shift at 17.3%.

Chairman Hayakawa said, “Each drama is a tough number, but I think that ‘Mirai e no 10 Count’ is doing its best at the top level”.
