Katayama teased that she would be making an announcement and sure enough, the former idol has been hired as an employee of the gaming company, CloudsPlayCompany.

In the video, company president Chiba Tatsuya introduces Katayama.

Katayama said, “Nice to meet you, everyone. I’m Katayama Haruka, who has decided to join CloudsPlayCompany. I used to be active in AKB48, and after graduating, I was mainly active on the stage. I’m a little nervous, but I want to do my best, so please support me!”

President Chiba clearly stated, “It’s not an event or a story, she really decided to join the company as a full-time employee. In the future, as public relations for our company, we would like to have Katayama do more and more advertising in order to increase the name recognition of our company, which is still unknown, and to sell our games.”
