“Uma Musume” voice actress Kohno Marika was diagnosed with adjustment disorder

Kohno Marika, the voice actress who plays the role of Silence Suzuka in the popular “Uma Musume: Pretty Derby” has been diagnosed with an adjustment disorder according to her agency. The announcement was made on November 1st and her activities will be restricted except for some work that can be handled.

Kohno said, “Since mid-October, I have been in poor health, and I have caused a lot of trouble and worry to all the people involved and the fans who support me. I was diagnosed with adjustment disorder by my attending physician.”

Regarding the future, Kohno said, “For the time being, treatment will be given priority, and activities will be restricted except for some jobs that can be handled.” She continued, “I would like to sincerely apologize for causing a great deal of trouble and concern to everyone involved and fans, and I would like to ask for your understanding and cooperation”.

Kohno will not be appearing in the “Uma Musume: Pretty Derby 4th Event Special Dreamers!! Extra Staged” scheduled to be held at Belluna Dome in Saitama on November 5-6.

Kohno has voiced the roles for Silence Suzuka in “Uma Musume: Pretty Derby”, Kobana Suzu in “Sore ga Seiyu!” and Hanabi Tenka in “Burning Table Tennis Musume”.
