“Marunouchi Street Park” has been held since 2019 as a social experiment to verify the future of Marunouchi Nakadori and how to use it, and this is the 7th time. Until now, the Marunouchi Street Park 2022 Executive Committee have mainly conducted three blocks of Marunouchi Naka-dori, but this time they will expand the development area to Gyoko-dori in front of Tokyo Station, which will be the largest ever. By making public spaces such as roads high-quality spaces that are easy to “stay” and “walk around”.

For workers and visitors to the area, the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho areas will be lively. In addition, while thinking about how events should be in the era of with Corona, they also aim to widely disseminate the charm of the city as an urban tourism and the appearance of Japan re-starting from the corona disaster.

This time , with the theme of “MSP Twinkle Street” , we aim to create a new winter scene and establish it as a traditional scene, and deliver a memorable winter scene in Marunouchi for many people. The implementation on Gyoko- dori, in addition to Marunouchi Naka-dori, is one of the few examples of integrated use of public spaces, and is an initiative that contributes to the creation of a “walkable town” in a place that symbolizes Japan and Tokyo. This project is an initiative in collaboration with Park Street Tokyo (*1).

Marunouchi Illumination 2022

This is an annual event that will celebrate its 21st year this year, with more than 340 trees lining the Marunouchi area from the Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan in front of Yurakucho Station to Otemachi Nakadori, centering on Marunouchi Nakadori, the main street of about 1.2km. will be lit up with about 1.2 million champagne gold LED lights. He will also light up at the same time at the large-scale outdoor plaza “TOKYO TORCH Park” in front of Tokiwabashi Tower, which will be grandly opened in July 2021 and has become a new landmark in front of the Nihonbashi exit of Tokyo Station.

Marunouchi Bright Christmas 2022 ~YUMING 50th BANZAI~

The Marunouchi Building celebrated its 20th anniversary this year and its 15th anniversary. Shinmaru Building.
