Cocomi to appear in her first NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen, mother and daughter to perform on the show

Cocomi (21), daughter of Kimura Takuya and Kudo Shizuka and it was announced that she will be performing on the 73rd NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen.

Cocomi is a professional flutist and model and has been playing the flute since the age of 11 and made her debut with Universal Music as a flutist in April of this year.

Her mother, Kudo Shizuka (52) will be participating on Kouhaku Uta Gassen, her first time in 24 years and a rare opportunity to see both mother and daughter perform on the long running New Year’s Eve special.
