BIGBANG’s D-LITE has left YG ENTERTAINMENT. YG told Newsen today (December 27th), “We are discussing a solo contract with G-Dragon,” and “D-Lite is looking for a new start after the contract has ended”.

They added, “D-Lite remains a member of BIGBANG, and we will always support and support new departures and choices.”

YG announced on the 26th through an official press release that TAEYANG did not renew his contract with YG and will continue to work as an artist under YG’s affiliate THE BLACK LABEL. THE BLACK LABEL is an affiliated company of YG, in which YG currently holds about 30% of the shares.

Before D-LITE and TAEYANG ended their contract with YG, TOP’s exclusive contract with YG Entertainment ended after BIGBANG’s single “Still Life” released back in April.

On April 5, TOP announced the end of their exclusive contract with YG through his official SNS, saying, “I don’t think there are any plans to make a comeback as BIGBANG for the time being.”
